Action

Mission & Goals: Together we hope to build a community ready to fight for justice as political activists, environmentalists, and community volunteers. CPA works with the Orlando/Global community through volunteerism, mindfulness, the arts, political/social activism and community events.

Knights for Wildlife Conservation

Mission & Goals: Devoted to educating others about wildlife and conservation through volunteering, outreach, as well as through promoting career advancement to our members.

Engineers Without Borders

Mission & Goals: Building a better world through engineering projects that empower communities to meet their basic human needs and equip leaders to solve the world’s most pressing challenges.

Holistic Healing Association

Mission & Goals: To bring holistic/ naturalistic medicine to UCF, and share with students the benefits of this type of healing. The club is opened not only to students who want to pursue a career in the field, but also to those who simply want to learn about holistic medicine and the multitude of ways there are to heal before the use of biomedicine.

Progressive Action

Mission & Goals: Fights to turn the progressive platform into policy by supporting candidates and legislation that value people over profit, equality over injustice, and unity over polarization.

Botanical Society
of UCF

Mission & Goals: A new student organization at UCF aiming to facilitate the plant-science community among students and faculty. We are a student chapter of the Botanical Society of America: http://www.botany.org/

Spokes Council

Mission & Goals: Spokes Council is a cyclist club located in greater Orlando geared towards facilitating the growth of all types of cycling culture in the East Orlando area. We also maintain a bike cooperative, and free bike repair tent located outside the Student Union.

Knights for Animal Rights

Mission & Goals: To raise awareness against all forms of cruelty to animals and improve animal welfare through use of advocacy, public policy reform, and education. We provide a network of friendship and educational resources that encourage healthy vegan options on campus and offer information on how the community can help and give back to the animals. Our primary focuses are animal agriculture, promoting pet adoption in the community, and education about wildlife captivity.

Mission & Goals: Addressing environmental challenges and finding realistic solutions to combat issues we face today. We strive to educate, engage, and empower others in environmental sustainability and provide innovative solutions through:

Urban Knights Planning Association

Mission & Goals: To connect students, faculty and professionals to create networking for emerging urban planners. We wish to network with planners all over Central Florida, providing advice, expertise, and career opportunities for Urban and Regional Planning students at UCF.

Association of Environmental Professionals

Mission & Goals: To encourage members in the pursuit of environmental related careers and to foster personal and professional development. We provide an opportunity for members to become better informed on environmental issues and provide networking opportunities within several disciplines including biology, planning, geology, engineering, and landscape architecture.

International Medical Outreach

Mission & Goals: Dedicates its efforts to providing means for its members to expand their cultural awareness regarding medicinal practices, living standards, global health and economic disparities all over the globe. Our mission surrounds the importance of international medical altruism, sustainability, cross- cultural integration and preventative healthcare in underserved communities. Through our mission we hope to provide positive-life altering experiences, and leave our helpful footprint on the impoverished and underserved areas of the world where medical care is scarce or nonexistent.

Volunteer UCF

Mission & Goals: Is dedicated to promoting community service and education on various social issues to the University of Central Florida, through a variety of programs, committees, events, and ongoing projects. VUCF connects students with community organizations that best fit their interests, talents, and majors. We work with over 200 community agencies that utilize UCF student volunteers. Through volunteerism, students can gain valuable knowledge and experience, have a great time, and meet new friends–all while benefiting the community.

Student Sustainability Advisory Committee

This student-run committee serves as a catalyst between student perspectives and sustainability on campus. SSAC facilitates a shared avenue with the Sustainability Advisory Committee (SAC) by providing detailed proposals and recommendations for furthering the sustainable practices of UCF’s institutional culture. The 12 members are appointed on an annual basis.

ECOalition

Formerly the Student Sustainability Coalition (SSC)

The ECOalition is a monthly think-tank intended for sustainability-driven students and campus organizations. Meetings include student organization announcements, insight into campus sustainability operations,  skill-driven workshops, speakers, tours, and the planning of joint projects.

Arboretum

The Arboretum offers a variety of service opportunities for the UCF community. Volunteers can work in the community garden, gain insight into horticulture techniques, and participate in a variety of outreach and educational opportunities. Come out and get your feet wet, your hands dirty, and your knowledge expanded, by learning more about biodiversity, sustainable agriculture, and natural lands management.
